A cry for peace

As I reflect in the occurrences of this week... the energy I felt from my family, my friends, my children... the fear, panic, anger, hatred.... and more fear...

I was honestly....angry.

You see when I first heard about George Floyd, and then the protests, rallies, fires, looting, violence and rage that spread through this nation like wild -fire as a response to the disgustingly heinous crime that was Mr Floyd’s death...

my first honest thought was...

Why is racism still a thing?

Aren’t we more educated to know that the color of someone’s skin doesn’t define their worth... let alone their rights... as a human being?

Aren’t we more evolved than to hold hatred for a fellow human being based on such a trivial aspect?

I admit, I don’t really see people the same way other people see people.

I see energy.

I feel someone and know their energy, much more so than I have ever been able to see a face or hear a name.

We ARE energy.

And we live in these bodies.

And each one is a unique and beautiful expression and a necessary part of the whole of which you would call God.

We are not just skin and bones and meat and words and thoughts.

We are energy.

And we are divine in nature...

and unfortunately programmed from the womb on how to express that energy whether that aligns with the truest soul....or not.

Culture says you should be or do and say this and that. Families, friends, neighbors, religion... as well as the public education system and especially the media...all play such a crucial role in developing the human and their personality (ie the ego. )

And this ego is definitely not discreet in its expression of what it feels its should be. In fact it protects its image like a mother bear does her cubs.

So the real issue I see is this.... if racism, is in fact still a thing... even generations after Martin Luther King Jr made his famous speech...why still all the hatred?

And the answer is.

Generational wounding.

See, The energy centers of the body (ie the chakras) hold energetic information in them from up to 14 generations. And ancestral karma plays a part in people’s lives far more than we’d like... this is why you see patterns of abuse and such repeat themselves over and over through family lines . This is why you see people that were adopted as children still expressing their biological families patterns despite having never been exposed to them physically. It’s not JUST learned behavior. It’s literally the energy you have within you. And this energy produces mindsets and emotions…which leads to the actions and behavior we see today.

And 14 generations worth.

Ouch.

So that means that trauma and abuse, pain and suffering, ways of thinking, being, speaking and doing, joys and desires...from generations before you is literally gumming up the proper function of your chakras and in you from the womb.

And the truth is that racism still affects us all. Hatred eats away from the inside out whether you be the hater or the hated. Or even just the person standing in witness. The energy is there.

And it’s destructive.

It’s painful. And it’s real.

And the truth is that many of us are ready to heal.

Ready to move on and truly live a life that is colorful and also colorless.

Why is racism a still thing?

Because people are still hurting from it.

Because we perpetuate the cycles that caused it in the first place for lack of the knowledge on how to heal it, approach it... and live it any differently.

Should we be angry? Hell yes.

Should we maintain our right to protest. Absolutely.

But anger is a reactionary emotion to grief. Sadness. Pain….and injustice for self and others.

We need to really grieve

and dig in....

and own the fuck out of it.

We need to heal.

And we need to learn to do this differently.

To deny the very real pain that people are still in is like telling someone with a broken leg to just get over it, be brave, and do better.

It just doesn’t work like that.

Grief.... real grief takes time to process. Feelings need to be validated before let go. Thought processes, belief sets that determine our every action and behavior pattern reset and re-evaluated.

I believe humanity can rise above the hatred. I believe we can come together in unity. And rise above the bull- shit.

But it’s going to take some work and a whoolllle lotta love.

But we’ve got this.

And it starts here.

It starts on an individual level.

It starts at home.

Be love.

Be forgiveness... and be forgiven.

But more than anything .... be real...

You can’t heal until it’s real.

And our future generations deserve a world where lies don’t run their lives like it has for so many generations.

It’s time friends.
